Timothy Q. Purdon
We relentlessly pursue justice for our clients. Our track record proves it.
Bismarck, ND and Minneapolis, MN
Tim Purdon’s career focuses on leading complex investigations and high stakes civil litigation from both the plaintiff and defense counsel’s table. Tim spent the first 15 years of his legal career representing clients injured in fires and explosions, industrial accidents, drunk driver accidents, serious car crashes, and by defective products. He then became a United States Attorney for the District of North Dakota, further building a path that uniquely positions him to rewrite the odds for real people caught up in “once-in-a-lifetime” lawsuits with powerful interests.
“In my 20-plus-year career, with the many varied experiences I have had in private practice and as U.S. Attorney, the thing I cherish the most are those times where I was able to stand with a person and their family, come face-to-face the biggest challenge of their lives, and help those folks achieve some measure of justice. That is what brings me to work every day.” Tim Purdon
In 2014, Attorney General Eric Holder tapped Tim to be a member of the select Attorney General’s Advisory Committee (“AGAC”). Tim was twice named a “Great Plains Super Lawyer.” His successful 20-year track record in private practice and public service have established Tim as a passionate champion for his clients and an incisive strategic thinker.
