Brendan Johnson has spent his entire career trying cases, deposing hostile witnesses, and cross-examining experts. He applies his unique background and skills to helping Personal Injury clients achieve outcomes that best serve their long-term interests and well-being. A former United States Attorney for the District of South Dakota, Brendan was described as a “force of determination, initiative, and skill…” In private practice, Brendan represents clients pursuing justice against powerful interests.  His successes include wrongful death and serious personal injury matters involving car accidents, industrial injuries, defective products, and drunk drivers, as well litigating against insurance companies that wrongfully denied benefits.

“My passion is fighting for clients seeking justice against more powerful and wealthy interests. As the former chief federal law enforcement officer in South Dakota and in private practice, I have spent my career seeking to rewrite the odds and obtain justice for individuals and their families during the most difficult times of their lives.”  Brendan Johnson

Beyond his Personal Injury Practice, Brendan has received numerous awards for his advocacy efforts. These include the University of South Dakota’s “Women in Law Attorney of the Year Award,” the “South Dakota Violence Against Women Prosecutor of the Year Award,” and Shared Hope International’s 2014 “Pathbreaker Award.”
